Ettor Brands is a brand governance service run by Ettor. It reviews documents against an organisation's brand rules and produces on-brand documents. This page explains what information the service handles and why.
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, your email address and your profile picture. We store your name and email address so that we can recognise you and place you in your organisation.
When an administrator of your organisation connects a Google Drive folder, the service reads the files in that folder and in the folders inside it. It records each file's name, type and last modified date, and it reads file contents when a document is reviewed or when brand rules are compiled. The service only has access to folders that someone in your organisation has chosen to connect.
We keep a record of actions taken in the service, such as sign-ins, folders connected and documents approved, together with the email address of the person who took them.
We use this information only to provide the service to you and your organisation. That means reviewing documents, compiling brand rules, generating documents you ask for and saving the results back to your connected Drive folder.
To review and generate documents, the service sends document text to a third-party AI model provider, which processes it only to return a result to us. We do not use your information or your documents to train AI models, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.
Ettor Brands' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The service runs on servers in Canada. Information is kept for as long as your organisation uses the service. Your documents stay in your own Google Drive, and you can remove the service's access to a folder at any time from Google Drive or from your organisation's page.
We use a cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
